Writer.

Family woman, drinker of whiskey, walker of woods.

Author

bio.

Alexandra was born on a dusty shore of the island of Australia. As an adult her adventurous spirit took her off to Switzerland so she could experience just how uncomfortable life can be when you don’t speak the language of the people around you.

She has since learned the language of the people, and found out that yes, they were talking about her that whole time.

Not really!

They were just talking about what everyone talks about, weather, traffic, their annoying mother-in-law, how expensive food is… that sort of thing.

Loves

lots.

Snowy mountain forests, Glenfarclas Family Cask whiskey, looking at other people’s babies as they sit in their prams at cafes.

Hmm’s

about.

People being rude for no good reason, running out of whiskey, really tight jeans, and winter mornings before the sun comes up.

Her writing

process.

To begin writing, Alexandra needs a quiet space, loud music, a scented candle burning, a black ink pen and a Moleskin black card bound notebook.

However, she will adapt to writing in a cafe with her earpods in while typing on a laptop, if she can sit next to a window and ogle cute babies in prams as they are pushed passed by their tired parents, who probably all need a nice escapist bit of fiction and a strong coffee.
